The Greenpark at Hyderabad is an urban oasis located at Green lands in the heart of the Vibrant Capital of Andhra Pradesh. This elegant and comfortable 147 room hotel is nestled in a one of the verdant areas of Hyderabad. They wanted a system to manage the vehicles entering or exiting the hotel parking areas to capture vehicle images on entry/exit and analyze the vehicle arrival, departure and parking duration reports.

SenSen's ANPR solution was chosen to meet their requirement. It can

1. Perform ANPR on images identifying license plate regions and generate the alpha numeric strings associated with the vehicle images,
2. Send the vehicle detection and ANPR events into a searchable data base,
3. Provide auxiliary recording of video to serve as a backup.
4. Provide vehicle arrival, departure and parking duration reports.
5. Send alerts via SMS and MMS when hotel owned vehicles and VIPs enter and exit the hotel premises.
6. Enables quick search based on various combination of date, time, vehicle ID and ANPR read confidence.

The hotel has two gates – one for entry and the other for exit. Cameras are located in each gate and ANPR is run on both the cameras. During the entry, the vehicles are stopped for inspection and ANPR software reads the NP. However, the vehicle will exit without interruption. The vehicle detection accuracy of more than 99% and read accuracy of over 85% was achieved in the application. With manual override features we could achieve near 100% accuracy. Manual editing feature needs to be restricted to certain user levels.
