Satish Gupta

Director & Executive Chairman

Satish Gupta co-founded SenSen in Aug 2005 and is the Director and Executive Chairman of the Company. Satish brings a remarkable amount of Entrepreneurial experience, industry networks and relationships to SenSen with an accomplished and illustrious track record with technology companies spanning last several decades in the Silicon Valley, USA. He directs the Company vision, business strategy market positioning and business partnerships.

Earlier, Satish was the CEO and founding President of Cradle Technologies, a venture funded leader in the emerging generation of Soft-Silicon semiconductor companies. Prior to starting Cradle, Satish was the Corporate Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Cirrus Logic. He has also served as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Advanced Development for Media Vision, establishing it as a multi- media pioneer and taking it public in 1993. Satish was at IBM from 1968 through 1991, and worked in several geographical locations, holding a variety of technical and management positions around the world.

Satish was a director and a member of audit, compensation and nominating committees of InterTrust Technologies, a leader in Digital Rights Management technology, that went public in 1999 and got later acquired by SONY and Philips for over $500 MM. He is currently on the board of UMEVOICE, a privately funded voice recognition solutions venture. He was also a director and mentor to the founder of RightWorks, an enterprise software venture that was acquired by I2 technologies. He was also an advisor to the CEO of Logic Vision, a NASDAQ traded company.

Satish graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1968, with masters in electrical engineering. He was the gold medalist in his Bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, one of the top universities in India. He completed his second Masters in Engineering and Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1976, where he is also a member of the advisory committee to the MS&E department. He has co-authored several books and is a charter member of one of the most influential Entrepreneurs' network called TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs.

Dr. Subhash Challa

Director & CEO

Subhash Challa co-founded SenSen in Aug 2005 and is the Director and CEO of the Company. Subhash is a visionary entrepreneur and a leading expert in Data Fusion & Tracking technologies. He is the driving force behind the Company's product innovations, roadmap and release strategy. He has pioneered the unique approach of adapting the probabilistic and statistical analysis components of the underlying technologies to high value commercial products.

Subhash is also a 'Senior Principal Research Scientist' at the 'Victorian Research Labs' of NICTA (National ICT Australia) which is Australia's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Centre of Excellence at the University of Melbourne (UoM). Prior to this role, he was the Professor of Computer Systems at the University of Technology Sydney and led the Networked Sensor Technologies (NeST) Lab. Before that, he was a 'Senior Research Fellow' at the UoM, where he led a number of tracking and data fusion projects in collaboration with organizations like DSTO, DARPA,BAE, Raytheon, Tenix Defense, Thales, RTA, NSW Police and others.

He is the plenary, tutorial and invited speaker at the various information fusion and Sensor Network Conferences including IDC 2007 (Adelaide, Aus), Sensors Expo 2006 (Chicago, USA), ISSNIP Conferences in 2005, 2004, Fusion Conferences in 2006, 2005, 2003. He has published about 100 papers in various international journals and conferences. He has also co-authored a reference text titled 'Fundamentals of Object Tracking', published by the Cambridge University Press, U.K. July 2011.

Subhash received his Ph.D. from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 1999. Part of his Ph.D. was accomplished at the Robotics Lab, Harvard University, USA. He was a Tan-Chun-Tau Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore during 2002-03. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India.

William Moran

Director, R&D

William Moran is the Director of R&D at SenSen and he provides insightful leadership to the technical team for development of algorithms and testing in real-world application environments.

He is also a Research Director of the Melbourne Systems Laboratory at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Melbourne. He has been leading several major efforts in signal processing research, funded by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Defense Science and Technology Organization (DSTO), the Australian Research Council (ARC) and other funding bodies. He works with the Microwave Radar Group in EWRD at DSTO on projects in radar, waveform design and clutter mitigation. He is the only academic non-US member of a Multi University Research Institute (MURI) funded by AFOSR for waveform design.

Bill received his PhD from the University of Sheffield, UK in 1968 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Birmingham, UK. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science

Zenon Pasieczny

Director

Zenon Pasieczny is the Director and a key investor in SenSen. He has been actively contributing to the strategic planning, market segmentation and media communications of the Company. He served as a Director of Saphet Capital, a venture capital firm supporting the investment and operational needs of technology start-up companies focused on new industry opportunities.

Zenon is a former journalist, editor and publisher with experience in Australia and Hong Kong. His 20- year media career includes editorial and management positions with newspapers, magazines and the Internet, specialising in start-ups and new product launches. Based on his international experience in business and the media, Zenon formed Great Wall Media in 1998 to provide communications-led consulting services to a select portfolio of private and public-sector clients in Australia and overseas.

Zenon has an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands) with a distinction in International Business (1998). He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) and is a Graduate of the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD, 2001).
